DHV Architects have led the transformation of a Grade II* listed town house in the historic heart of central Bristol, converting the property from rundown offices into a stunning family home.

A new courtyard has been created which leads to a new recording studio and Alexander Technique practise room to the rear. The historic structure of the original house, which was lost for decades, has been made legible by removing unsympathetic alterations and carefully repairing the original fabric.

The new studio is finished in bronze cladding which compliments the mediterranean inspired courtyard. The existing garden wall has been expertly conserved to retain the traces of the different occupiers of the house throughout the years.
